Welcome!
"Rozie is wonderful at facilitating difficult conversations. She is both loving and fiercely committed to getting to the truth. I felt very safe as she worked with our group to reach a resolution satisfactory to all."

What to Expect
This is a two-part curriculum. Each six-chapter course includes reading and video lessons, reflection prompts, and suggestions for further study.
Some lessons feature a "Flip It and Reverse It" section — my homage to Missy Elliott — where we shift the lens away from the Black/white binary to explore how communities of Color navigate these topics in their own right.
Each chapter includes reflection prompts, and you'll also have access to a downloadable journal with all prompts collected in one place. Your responses are yours alone.
This course is not an exhaustive analysis of race, allyship, or equity — no single source could be. Think of it as your basecamp: a curated set of frameworks and resources to anchor your own ongoing learning.
My approach is to call in, not call out — and to never use the learning process as a weapon against those who've been disengaged or misinformed. We've all been shaped by a society with built-in norms around race, gender, class, and more. The goal isn't guilt about what we didn't know. It's coming together now to dismantle the rules that divide us and build the future we all deserve.
What Comes Next
Completing Course One sets you up for Course Two, which covers more advanced topics. Finish both and you'll receive a certificate of participation plus a few extra goodies from Brave Sis Project. 🎉
